My first official seed purchase, as every seed I had was gifted to me from veterans until this pack. I had no idea how much cannabis seeds cost at the time and I was still here on Guam with a friend that was in Cali during the original drop. I had asked him to grab the best seeds he could at the time regardless of cost as I was finally ready to play with seeds from the states. After a few days he had messaged me telling me that he had to ask around but bought me a pack of Dosidos from Archive Seed Bank for $800. I had thought I might just be overpaying or maybe it was the cost of importing to Guam as it was all still new to everyone and finding real seeds was difficult so I paid it and waited for them to arrive.

Immediately after dropping them I knew this was a different ball game entirely from what the island was used to. I had dropped the whole pack and only managed to get 8 to germinate. All of which were female and no males, I remember thinking that maybe all stateside seeds are female. Looking back it would’ve been great to find a male, but I was crossing my fingers and praying everything was female. Back in those days you didn’t really have time to grow indoor males. Of those 8 there were 3 that were stand-out. I initially kept all 3 but slowly let go of the other 2 over time as I noticed the distance in quality from cut to cut as I continued to dial them in over the years.

The cut I held so dearly was my Dosidos F1 “Swiss Miss” cut, as it just hit all the right boxes and really set the standard for what weed should be like at least for me. Until this day “Swiss Miss” is still my number #1 cut and I have run so many strains because of her searching for another that might be her equal.

With her quality being so great she became the flower I kept a secret and didn’t share unless I really wanted to stop the show. Over time I realized that everyone should get the chance to enjoy this incredible experience, leaving me with the quest to share “Swiss Miss” with the world all the way from my little island of Guam.

Right before the Covid and Corona Virus epidemic my family (My wife and at the time 1 year old son) and I lost our place to stay, were homeless and living out of our SUV and I struggled to get us back on our feet.

During that time Dosidos F1 was the only cut I kept alive regardless of the challenges to do so, due to that close call on almost losing her to life it pressured me to start the project asap.

Being my oldest cut in the library and my personal favorite of all time, I wanted to name all the strains I cross her to after nostalgic memories from my childhood. Especially moments being lost in the sauce watching late night cartoons struggling to stay away because I might’ve smoked too much.
